Medical Assistant Full-Time Norristown, PA $18 - $19 hourly Benefits: - Medical, Dental & Life Insurance - Generous Paid Time Off - 401K with match - Tuition Reimbursement - Room for growth and development! - Bonuses What you will do: Duties include both administrative and clinical responsibilities such as greeting patients, checking patients in/out, scheduling appointments, handling high call volume, assisting with procedures, performing phlebotomy, and other basic medical assistant duties as requested by the Providers, Team Leaders, or Health Center Manager, all while providing upstanding care and respect to our patients. What you will need: • High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED • Completion from an accredited Medical Assistant Program REQUIRED • Experience in a medical office setting PREFERRED • Bilingual in Spanish PREFERRED • Ability to work effectively with all levels of care team and other colleagues • A positive attitude • Remain in accordance with HIPPA • Ability to use good reasoning and judgment COVID-19: DVCH is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for our employees, patients, and visitors. Medical exemptions will be reviewed and approved in coordination with the Chief Medical Officer and religious exemptions will be reviewed and approved in coordination with the Chief Human Resources Officer.
