Wages starting at $33.82 per hour with the opportunity to progress up to $39.53 per hour.
Our team is responsible for maintaining equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of Kimberly Clark Products through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance work. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Work safely and protect the safety of others
Basic machine shop, welding and fabricating skills
Actively participate in a High Performance Work Team environment, sharing knowledge and skills with all other team members
Supports the planning and execution of daily/weekly shutdown activities
Provide routine maintenance training to team members
Participates in cost effective decision making for labor, parts, and materials
Actively participates in the design, implementation and upgrade of all equipment and reliability programs
Identify and maintain critical spare inventory levels, and working with stores
Set up and operate all types of mechanical tools, which could include general machinist tools and alignment devices
Read blue prints and related technical literature as required. Fabricate jobs from blue prints and sketches
Operate Windows-based computer software and Kimberly Clark specific systems
Demonstrate the mechanical aptitude to lead and execute repairs on high speed rotating equipment
Work with and lead others (operators, crafts, contractors, suppliers)
Be proficient in the assembly, disassembly and installation of mechanical systems and components commonly found on high speed rotating equipment
Be proficient in the safe execution of rigging and large equipment transportation
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in your assigned area
Lead root cause analysis and problem solving in your assigned area
Own our team vision and lead in a manner consistent with our culture
Key Customers:
Operations, Distribution, Engineering, Maintenance Planners and Corporate Teams
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Must be able to work overtime including nights holidays weekends and/or 12 hour rotating shifts
Read and write basic English
Basic computer skills (Microsoft office)
Able to work on elevated work platforms, catwalks, scaffolding, and enter confined work spaces
Candidate must follow all site and asset safety practice and procedures and value working safely
Good problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to work safely in a multi-functional team environment
Able to handle multiple priorities
Motivated self-starter
Understand predictive, preventative maintenance concepts and demonstrate willingness to learn and continue education
Requirements:
Related two year technical degree and minimum 5 years work experience in a related manufacturing field
Additional experience beyond the 5 year minimum will be considered in lieu of a two year technical degree
Experience with high speed manufacturing and converting equipment preferred
This position may require a post-offer/pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT) to confirm that individuals are able to perform the essential functions of the job.
