Job Description:
- Lead operational procurement activities associated with supplier expansion projects.
- Understand the following:
- Production planning requirements
- Evaluate/interpret SAP demand and supply
- Inventory management
- Cash management expectations
- Integrate analysis, development, testing, and implementation.
- Project evaluations
- Confirm orders and manages the delivery schedule.
- Resolve gaps as needed to maintain continuity of supply.
- Troubleshoot threats to supply to prevent production line stops.
- Ensure operational requirements.
- Create deficiency and status reports
- Document and process complaints or transport.
- Provide functional advice and guidance.
- Experience in the procurement of metals along with an insight into manufacturing is a critical requirement for this role.
- 5-8 years of deep professional know-how and experience in one sub-job family.
- Solid professional judgment and problem-solving competence.
- SAP experience.
- Project Management experience is a plus.
