Job Summary
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, executing and monitoring creative marketing programs across a variety of channels.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage and update social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Tik Tok for both SLP and SL Garden Center
- Communicate with and manage the website development team
- Write, edit, and publish monthly blog posts on the website
- Structure, write, and submit monthly or quarterly newsletters for SLP and SL Garden Center
- Communicate with and manage Dig Marketing for the SL Garden Center
- Schedule and complete weekly site visits to gather social media content including team pictures, active and completed projects, and more
- Schedule and manage annual professional photography and videography for completed projects
- Attend networking events with team members to connect with builders, architects, potential employees, and prospective clients
- Create, schedule, and post employee birthday and anniversary recognitions
- Schedule and post on both the SLP and SL Garden Center social media pages a minimum of three times a week
- Become proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically in Photoshop, Illustrator, and more
- Become proficient in photography and videography to gather company content
- Manage our brand image, logos, fonts, and more
- Create and post monthly recap reels
- Prepare and gather before and after pictures and videos
- Update website pages to consistently reflect company changes and updates
- Schedule and complete annual headshot pictures for all team members
- Purchase and organize swag items for marketing events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in Marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Efficient time-management skills
- Valid NH Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record
