Brief Description
Employee responsibilities will include but not limited to, plotting and updating Assessor"s Office property maps as required in accordance with state standards, process subdivisions, exemptions, paid in advances, boundary line adjustments and boundary surveys. Trainee will research properties to obtain accurate mapping information and property location to assist staff with accurate appraisal work, do clean up on parcel accounts, research on plats and deeds, and answer phone calls. Professional work will be conducted with the public on the telephone or in person. Work within the Eagle Web, Tyler, Connect Explorer, Parcel Join and ArcView software. All duties will be performed under normal supervision. Employee may be required to work irregular hours, attend job-related meetings and/or training, and perform other duties as assigned.
