As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles the world expects from us. Within our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. That means we’re continually seeking diligent, determined performers who think outside the box to help us find better and more efficient ways to manufacture our vehicles.

What you’ll be able to do:

  • Feasibility Development and/or Program Launch for new vehicles in support of SQDCME objectives.
  • Support minor launch and current production programs.
  • Design and Develop Paint Tooling for new vehicles.
  • Provide paint expertise to other Subsystems including Product Development, Assembly Plants and Paint Forward Model.
  • Perform Assembly Plant Health Assessments with resolution follow up including monitoring QOS/Control Plan items.
  • Utilize DMAIC work methods to improve cost/quality of vehicle lines.
  • Work with Assembly Plants to improve cost/quality.
  • Manage GSPAS processes and all MCR/CR actions.
  • Implement robust designs per Paint SDS/MDS and Lessons Learned.

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ of experience in GPDS Design/Launch timing.
  • 2+ of experience with Microsoft Office Toolset.

Our preferred requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Solid Understanding of Paint Process and Facilities.
  • Assembly Plant experience preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum Greenbelt certified with proven problem solving skills
  • Ability to travel extensively.
  • Strong Communication & Presentation Skills - Requires frequent reporting to Senior Management on Program.
  • Ability to work and show leadership under high stress levels and within team environment.
  • Self-motivated with forward thinking.
