What are we looking for?

We are currently seeking a new team member for the Manufacturing Detailer position in our Newark, CAlocation. This is for our 2nd shift. More details will be provided during the interview process. The potential candidates for this role must be a proven Manufacturing Detailer, who will detail machined parts as instructed per shop order, print, and/or verbal instructions.

Additionally, our new team member an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

  • Work with various types of hand tools or air operated tools such as orbital sanders, die grinders, deburr knife, burr whip.
  • Report non-conformities to the Supervisor.
  • Read and comprehend written instructions.
  • Deburr, file, and sand using Scotch Brite, wire brushes, and polishing agents.
  • Set up hand tools.
  • Install Helicoil inserts, Keenserts, and dowel pins.
  • General housekeeping.
  • Uphold the company core values.
  • Other essential duties as assigned.

Successful Candidate Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum six months of experience detailing metal parts in a machine shop.
  • Must have the knowledge and experience necessary for the position.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and procedures and work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be capable of reading drawings and inspecting the work being performed.
  • Work well with others and maintain a professional attitude toward co-workers and customers.
  • Possess excellent and continuous attendance.

  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to stand, walk, and hear.
  • Frequently use your hands and fingers; handle, feel, and reach with your hands and arms.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
