Manual Machinist Job at Littlejohn-Reuland Corp
We are looking for a manual Machinist to join our team.
Responsibilities include
- Review samples, drawings, or instructions to understand the specifications
- Operates and maintains 3 and 4 jaw lathe and milling machines.
- Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
- Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages
- Maintains a safe and clean workstation
Qualifications and requirements:
- Vocational school or apprenticeship preferred
- Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in using manual 3 and 4 jaw lathes and milling machines
- Ability to use precision tools. Calipers and Micrometers to take accurate measurements
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to understand, perform and retain various job-related training, operational, and safety procedures
- Outstanding mathematical skills and analytical abilities
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to 50 lbs.
