SUMMARY:
The Manager of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting is responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the Company’s SEC filings. The SEC Reporting Manager will play a vital role in the planning, coordination, oversight, drafting, review, compliance, and technical delivery of the SEC filings. Additional responsibilities include leading technical accounting research, reviewing and analyzing complex accounting transactions, and assisting with other projects as necessary. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Own end-to-end planning and preparation of financial filings such as 10-Q and 10-K, including new disclosures for accounting standards and other GAAP-required disclosures
- Prepare and coordinate all internal financial reporting, quarterly and annual reports, including the information gathering process and required SEC filings.
- Evaluate the Company’s press releases, investor presentations, earning scripts, and other publicly shared financial information for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
- Monitor, assess, and communicate changes in accounting and disclosure regulations or industry practices that may impact the Company, escalating potential issues and possible solutions.
- Coordinate with auditors on accounting and disclosure matters affecting external reporting
- Maintain the Risk and Control Matrix (RCM) and coordinate control activities for the areas of accounting and reporting responsibilities, ensuring effective disclosure controls
- Assist with evaluating the effectiveness of processes, procedures, and control environment and develop improvements as needed
- Lead the technical accounting in the review and analysis of complex accounting transactions for presentation and disclosure in the Company’s filings
- Be a trusted partner building strong cross-functional relationships to support Company initiatives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience
Strong technical understanding, analytical and financial reporting skills
Thorough knowledge of US GAAP, SOX 404, and SEC reporting standards
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adept at handling change
Ability to work independently, complete work timely, and work well as a team member
WDesk/Workiva experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
