Position Overview:
The Novelis Corporate Strategy team is seeking a
Manager Marketing & Sustainability Integration
. The person in this role will report to the Director, the Director Strategy & Marketing, Global Automotive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the establishment and implementation of commercial planning framework (“Commercial Carbon Playbook”) and practices in order to offer lower CO2 aluminum sheet products required to achieve growth objectives across global value streams.

- Integrate product CO2 burden in Market Planning in order to simulate Account level results to align with customer expectations
- Ensure alignment to customer objectives and determination of value for Novelis product offerings.
- Develop framework to allocate carbon footprint adjustments across value streams within region.
- Simulate customer willingness to pay in order to optimize product mix and plan for Green Prime, and RC levels for procurement.
- Develop pricing strategy framework across regions and customers to drive the adoption of more sustainable products.
- Support key activities including background research and analysis to assist with market and competitor research by extracting data and trends from analyst and financial reports and interviews with subject matter experts
- Align with Corporate Sustainability to ensure accurate reflection of carbon accounting practices across regions and facilities
- Ensure integration of certification data standards into global CRM system tied to commercial planning.
- Global sustainability will lead and be responsible for establishing the accounting and certification practices necessary to quantify the carbon emissions associated with specific product and customer commercial strategies. They will drive the commercial targets necessary for Scope 1 & Scope 2 de-carbonization of production operations by the sustainability function, in order to maximize the value to the customers.
- The Global Marketing & Sustainability Integration Manager will ensure the development of a global commercial planning process which will align production emissions by regions and across value streams to commercial strategies which will secure growth objectives in the market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional resources to gather and align on assumptions; foster positive relationships to maintain access to data and expertise.
- Prepare logical and stylistically clean presentation content to communicate recommendations.
- Apply problem-solving skills to resolve complications independently.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve the team’s data, processes, and impact
Minimum Q ualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or related field
- 6+ years of experience in strategy, strategic marketing, or related function required
- Project management experience
- Experience with price analysis or price optimization
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability at gathering and synthesizing data from a number of internal and external sources
- Demonstrated skills in building financial models
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, self-starter who is assertive, disciplined and flexible
- Ability to positively manage change in response to shifting demands, as well as multiple projects and priorities simultaneously; comfortable with ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Distinguished academic or intellectual achievement (highly regarded academic program, GPA, test scores, etc)
- Experience developing and presenting material to a senior level audience
- International experience (work experience or study abroad)
- M&A experience
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Cx digital implementation experience would be a plus
- Data science modeling and financial optimization would be a plus
