Overview:
The Manager of Information Technology will be a key member of the Information Technology management team for the development and implementation of innovative information technology initiatives, aligning them with the client’s strategic goals. This position is expected to be a critical contributor to plan and manage to build a scalable Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) system and work on multiple projects in Oracle R12 with focus on supporting the architecture and development of Oracle eBusiness Suite enhancements, integration, workflows, extensions, forms and reports. This position will be responsible for working with functional leads and business users to gather requirements, design, analyze, process definition, testing, training, and delivering an integrated solution. This position will also perform a wide variety of enterprise-level management activities, including managing team members, assist contractors in building and delivering the overall solution, and ensuring system changes are appropriately documented.

This position will have a concentration in Manufacturing and Supply Chain business processes such as Bills of Material, Work in Process, Purchasing, Inventory, Quality. Order Management, Warehouse Management, and EDI. The position also assists with maintaining and supporting EBS finance modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. Leviton has fully implemented Oracle EBS R12 for Order-to-Cash. Procure-to-Pay, Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) business processes and will continue to integrate recent acquisitions into Oracle. The Manager will be a key stakeholder in this project supporting the design and deployment of the new Oracle EBS solution.

Candidates must have Oracle EBS technical and functional experience in Oracle EBS applications such as Supply Chain Management Planning, Order Management, Manufacturing (BOM, WIP, Inventory, Purchasing, Shop Floor, Engineering) as well as management (managing people) experience.

This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the design, build and implementation of business system solutions, utilizing the Oracle e-Business Suite, to solve complex business requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between the business and IT communities to help bridge the gap between business problems and technology solutions.
  • Identify, document and/or execute aspects of the following: Define Current State Processes, Document Business Requirements, Define Future State Solutions, Develop Functional Specifications, Perform System Configuration, Develop and Execute Test Plans and Test Scripts.
  • Investigate system configuration options to provide functional expertise when developing solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Identify and recommend the use of standard/delivered functionality to meet business needs whenever possible.
  • Troubleshoot issues and propose feasible solutions and follow through to resolution.
  • Serve as lead resource for dealing with challenging system or business issues and facilitate group discussion/resolution as necessary.
  • Deploy innovative solutions for both supply chain applications and business processes.
  • Lead system upgrade and implementation activities.
  • Work with IT Staff to develop and implement technical solutions including both delivered system solutions and custom development application options.
  • Develop robust documentation for system processes, gap analysis and risk plans.
  • Collaborate with technical development teams and coordinate work efforts when addressing implementations, functionality enhancements, application updates and performance issues.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and user support skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications with an emphasis toward highly available and scalable solutions.
  • Designs, configures, tests, documents, and deploys application modifications according to user and business specifications includes; requirement gathering, gap analysis, and product/module implementation & customization phases.
  • Partners with business users to identify process/system improvements, gaps and opportunities through standardization or through IT automation.
  • Lead technical implementations/enhancements of Oracle modules to quickly recognize and research complex business problems to expedite resolution.
  • Expert knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite R12 (12.2.5) architecture, configurations and setups is required (e.g. table structures/schemas).
  • Strong knowledge/experience with design and development of custom solutions on Oracle Applications Framework, Forms, JDeveloper, Alerts, Workflows, and APIs preferred.
  • Thorough/expert technical knowledge in Oracle Tools, Technologies, and Web Services architectures.
  • Solid experience in integration data mapping and data loader activities.
  • Ability to program Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions interfacing from/to Sterling B2Bi to/from Oracle EBS.
  • Created, manage and resolve service requests (SRs) as related to all Oracle modules and interfaces, follow up, with Oracle support for speedy resolution for all high prioritized issues.
  • Conducts and documents rigorous quality assurance testing processes for all production deliverables.
  • Develops and executes system test plans.
  • Tests and validates patches/upgrades/new processes.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Information Science or related field required.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, CSM, etc) preferred.
  • Oracle certifications are a plus.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years progressive IT or technology focused management role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Manufacturing and Supply Chain Information System experience required.
  • Experience with Oracle CPQ integration with Oracle EBS is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Advanced functional knowledge in Supply Chain discipline with proficient working knowledge in multiple relevant disciplines to create solutions for highly complex business situations.
  • Success leading teams or collaborating with business partners and peer-level professionals from other IT specialties.
  • Minimum 5 years of functional experience supporting Oracle Applications (R12.1.3, R12.2.5 preferred). Fusion/Cloud is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience working on Oracle eBusiness Suite; SCM, Advance Pricing, Purchasing, Planning, WMS, Inventory, Finance, etc.
  • 3 Full life cycle Oracle EBS implementation projects involving; Development (DEV), Conference Room Pilot (CRP), User Acceptance Test (UAT), User Training and GO-LIVE and Postproduction support in Multi-Org Environment.
  • Requirements gathering, and documentation skills are a must.
  • Ability to evaluate technology, make recommendation and work on ad-hoc end user support requests.
  • Experience in organizing status meetings including coordination with the business team, preparing and presenting project status reports.
  • Experience in managing functional and development (offshore and onshore) teams.
  • Ability to learn and work with new technologies outside of Oracle Applications Framework (supporting business needs).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a project and lead a project team, report status and meet deadlines.
  • Manage system upgrade, integration, and implementation activities.
  • Knowledge of supply chain operational processes, trends and best practices.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment with minimal direct supervision.
  • Solid understanding of integration processes of third party systems (design, mapping, and execution).
