Position Description:

Responsible for managing and assisting the Director of Loyalty Programs to achieve the overall success of Boyd Rewards partner initiatives as well as event coordination, Including but not limited to strategy development, cross property program development, planning and implementation, as well as, the key liaison between Boyd Gaming and its brand partners. Key functions with direct oversight may include event coordination such as NFR planning, promotions, special event ticketing, player development, competitor analyses, and partner relations. Other functions include working with the Marketing Shared Services teams, Corporate Marketing departments, as well as Regional and Property Directors of Marketing.

  • Manages development and implementation of Boyd Rewards cross property marketing programing and plans.
  • Develops marketing programs which successfully achieve Boyd Gaming’s marketing and business goals that are aligned with the Boyd Rewards brand.
  • Works closely with partners to ensure relationships are maintained and guest service is executed.
  • Creates program budgets, manages expenses, and monitors progress toward maintaining property budgetary goals.
  • Manages selected external partners and closely monitors their performance and continued improvement.
  • Helps ensure all marketing activities, staff, and outside partners are in full compliance with all regulatory and company policies and practices.
  • Assists in the review & approval of marketing programs including actions provided by the Marketing Shared Services groups & other Corporate
  • Marketing depts.
  • Contributes to successful achievement of company financial objectives.
  • Coordinates budgets and accruals & billing for events.
  • Coordinates marketing support with all other operational departments.
  • Must possess high energy and be detail oriented.
  • Must work well under pressure and handle difficult circumstances with ease.
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends & holidays.
  • Opens job requests for marketing programs and activities, monitors their processing, and reports on their status and completion.
  • Ensures company-provided promotional advertising, collateral materials and event invitations are developed according to the brand, have accurate and onbrand creative messaging, are delivered on a timely basis, are up to date.
  • This includes but is not limited to advertising, Social Media, websites, direct mailings, on-property signage, and company, Regional, and Property marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinates communication of event opportunities & ticket purchases.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures for special events & brand partnerships.
  • Support and serve as a resource to the properties.
  • Closely monitor the competitive and industry looking for additional opportunities. Ensure that Boyd is responding to developments, staying
  • current in the field, and constantly improving it knowledge and capabilities.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as requested and assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong written and oral communication.
  • Knowledge of all computer software and office systems.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
  • Position will require travel to the properties a minimum of 25% of year.

  • Five - Seven (5 – 7 ) years marketing experience, preferably in the casino industry.
  • Knowledge of all gaming regulations and procedures.
