The Managed Care Collection Specialist will report directly to the Director of Business Office Support and have multi-site responsibilities - supporting and completing functions related to Commercial Insurance, Medicare Advantage/Replacement, Worker's Compensation Claims, Accounts Receivable Billing, Collection, and reporting for the company.

The Managed Care Collection Specialist will report directly to the Director of Business Office Support and have multi-site responsibilities - supporting and completing functions related to Commercial Insurance, Medicare Advantage/Replacement, Worker's Compensation Claims, Accounts Receivable Billing, Collection, and reporting for the company.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
What We're Looking For
Responsibilities:
- Monitor aged AR Insurance balances and assist facilities in collection efforts as necessary or directed by AR SWAT Support Team Lead.
- Partner and work with Campus Business Office Manager and/or Field Support team to identify problem areas for collection and billing.
- Prepare account summary and related documents when it is necessary to escalate problem accounts to the outside attorney group for collection.
- Audit, bill and adjust resident accounts with outstanding Insurance balances.
- Review Insurance EOB's/remits for correct cash posting.
- Assist with Clearinghouse Management for accurate claims billing.
- Assist with Matrix Care set up of payers and Insurance claim data.
- Review zero-pay EOB's/remits for accurate cash posting in Matrix.
- Enter adjustments on resident accounts from EOB's/Remits to ensure accurate payer account billing.
- Verify timely billing of Insurance claims.
- Identify and recommend solutions to problems, manage multiple tasks efficiently, work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
