Do you have 3+ years experience in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, or electrical?
Are you someone who never cuts corners? (Only figuratively speaking of course!)
You might be the Maintenance Technician we are looking for!
As a Sherman’s Maintenance Technician you’ll be joining a small, but great team that cares for our 4 facilities throughout Central Illinois. Our facilities are large, and you’ll be kept busy with all the projects you will tackle. From building new offices, putting up new racks in the warehouse, to replacing ceiling tiles (and every big, small, smediumish project in-between) – your days will be full!
In your new career:
- You’ll have a consistent full-time Monday-Friday schedule.
- You’ll maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- You’ll address work orders submitted by all departments.
- You’ll help with renovations and special projects.
- You’ll cross-train and take care of the custodial/groundskeeping (mowing, snow removal, etc.) as needed.
- You’ll perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on tools and equipment.
We’ll need you to bring a can-do attitude. The words “that’s not in my job description” are not in our vocabulary over here. However, puns, on the other hand, are in our repair-toire.
As you can tell, we don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we make sure the job gets done and it gets done right.
