Position Overview:
This position is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all Sandhills Medical Foundation, Inc. (SMF) facilities and equipment while keeping the safety of patients, fellow employees, and self a top priority.
*Proof of vaccination for COVID-19 or approved exemption must be presented prior to beginning work with Sandhills Medical Foundation, Inc. Full vaccination is receipt of both doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or one dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
I. Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
- Experience with commercial maintenance of facilities and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently, as a part of a team and changing priorities.
- SC HVAC education and certification is preferred; however, it is a requirement to attain at least an EPA Section 603 certification that allows work on SMF's HVAC systems within the first year of employment.
I. Job Duties:
- Safely perform all maintenance work needed for all SMF facilities within scope of expertise and following all applicable local, state, and federal laws/guidelines.
- Maintain regular maintenance schedules of all SMF facilities and equipment in order to prevent and/or reduce downtime of SMF sites and services.
- Be initial contact for all SMF staff for maintenance issues as they arise. This could include, but not limited to, replacing light bulbs and fixture ballast, water leaks, bug issues, hanging new items such as bulletin boards, installing safety equipment, repairing restrooms that are out of order, HVAC systems not working, etc
- Conduct regular inspections of all SMF facilities and equipment

Pay: $48,343.96 - $50,236.66 per year
