SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Provide excellent service to clients and staff at the office and in the field
• Perform problem solving and think of ways to efficiently offer repairs and upgrades
• Deliver high quality and accuracy when installing, repairing, or maintaining items
• Provide helpful information and feedback to staff and project a positive image and build confidence in the company
• Be friendly, flexible, and maintain professionalism and a positive attitude even in difficult situations
• Be creative, adaptable, and display good judgement
• Have comfort with email and a willingness to learn how to use our system for work orders and notes
• Take ownership in our properties by helping to improve buildings and grounds
• Demonstrate strong communication skills – speaking, writing, listening

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lawn care and tree / shrub clean up
• Snow removal
• Painting of apartments
• Flooring removal and replacement
• Property clean up and occasional cleaning
• Minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry and appliance repair – entry to advanced skill level in some or most of these areas is desirable; see salary information below
• Completion of work orders in a timely fashion
• Maintaining positive customer relations, attitude and confidentiality when dealing with residents
• Performing apartment turn overs to company standards within a reasonable and quick time frame
• Completion of other projects or requests as directed by supervisor
• Offering solid communication with office and field staff to track tenant info, maintenance updates, move outs, etc.
• Take ownership in our properties by helping to improve buildings and grounds

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work – jobs sites are in and around South Milwaukee, St. Francis, Wauwatosa, West Allis, Greenfield, Menomonee Falls, etc.
• Ability to be able to work outside for extended periods
• Must pass a background check

HOURS

• Must be available Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
• Occasional rotation of weekend emergency phone line duties may be required in the future

COMPENSATION
