Maintenance Technician – 4-Day Work Week Eligible

The Morrison Communities has implemented a 4-Day Work Week Program for all full-time employees! All full-time employees now qualify to work 32-hours weekly and receive an additional 8-hours of equivalent pay.

We want you to be a part of something that matters at The Morrison Communities! Summit by Morrison is looking for a flexible and innovative Maintenance Technician. A Maintenance Technician works under the direction of the Summit Maintenance Director. This position is full-time.

· Maintenance Technicians start at $18.00 per hour.

Our community is dedicated to helping people live their best lives, utilizing a team approach. We offer a home like environment, where you will upkeep and provide general maintenance for our senior living community. Duties include basic plumbing and electrical repairs, light carpentry, drywall, painting, upkeep of grounds, trash removal and various other manual labor tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

· High school graduate or equivalent

· Valid driver’s license

· Reliable transportation

· General maintenance experience (two years preferred)

· Use of basic power tools and hand tools

· Familiar with use of snow removal equipment and lawn care equipment

· A team player who possesses a true commitment in providing outstanding service to our residents

· Can work independently and take direction from supervisor as needed

· Must be able to stand, stoop and remain on feet for extended periods of time
