Job Description
Green Circle Recycling is a family owned recycling company. We are currently looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our operation.
Position Summary:
A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing miscellaneous tasks to assist with day to day operations and to assist with capital improvement projects.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience operating a forklift, skid steer, loader, or telehandler.
One year or more concrete or welding experience.
Problem solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
One year or more experience working in production or manufacturing industry maintenance.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
Technical knowledge and basic understanding of mechanical systems.
Hold a valid driver’s license and experience driving straight truck.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs or more occasionally.
Must be able to work in extreme temperatures.
Must be able to work in a loud environment.
Other Demands:
Ability to be self-motivated, multi-task, and work independently with little to no supervision. Preferred ability to lead a team.
Must be able to follow safe operating practices.
Must be punctual and maintain a good work ethic.
Professional attitude: work well independently as well as on a team.
Hours may vary. May need to be available for other shifts and weekends if needed (scheduled downtime projects will be planned ahead).
