Maintenance Technical Analyst $80,000 - $95,000/a year


Summary:

Maintenance Controller/Technical Analyst handles the day-to-day operation of on-going and planned maintenance on company-operated aircraft. Maintenance Controller/Technical Analyst maintains communication with line maintenance and outstations ensuring all work accomplished are per company policies. Controller/Analyst monitors deferrals and ensures planned action for correction is executed at the next available maintenance opportunity. Maintenance Controller/Analyst ensure maintenance is performed per applicable aircraft manuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure any corrective action required by defects recorded in the aircraft log by the flight crews at outstations is corrected or deferred by licensed and qualified personnel or facility
  • Will evaluate and analyze all DMI’s MEL A, B, C, D, WDR, NEF and TLI’s, and TLD’s and come up with a plan to be executed by the Line maintenance department
  • Based on availability, will perform the analysis of deferred MELs A, B, C, D, NEF and TLI, TLD less than given expiration days, times or cycles, (with category of complexity and Operational Limitations), which have been worked by the Line Maintenance, but not cleared in order to be reassess and line out
  • Will verify that all parts, tools and materials are ordered as necessary, in order to resolve deferred maintenance Items effectively, before expiration. will perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Review the qualifications of the personnel or facility assigned to accomplish unscheduled maintenance or repairs at outstations and issuing any one-time Authorization that may be required in accordance with Company Manuel
  • Provide a written "turnover report", consisting of the occurrences on the duty shift, to the incoming shift controller. This will be done every shift, even when no deferrals or outstation maintenance is accomplished
  • Providing "aircraft on ground" (AOG) information to the Manager of Maintenance Control, Director of Maintenance and Quality Control
  • Advise the FAA and the Quality Control department promptly of any incidents or aircraft delays that may require FAA reporting

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
  • Have 3 years of experience in a position responsible for returning airplanes to service
  • Repairing airplanes in a certificated airframe repair station that is rated to maintain airplanes in the same category and class of airplane as the Company operates
  • Become familiar with the Company policies, procedures, duties and responsibilities of the position and all associated staff as set forth in this General Maintenance Manual.
Compensation:
  • $80,000 - $95,000/ a Year based on experience.

A&P & Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or related Quality Assurance 145 Repair Station work with 10 to 15 years Corporate Jet experience (preferably Hawker / Learjet / Citation experience)
