  Coordinate all Welsh Stone maintenance functions, including the building, grounds, delivery fleet, and shop equipment
• Check-in daily with drivers, shop manager, and operations manager on needs that arise & need attention
• Enjoy performing routine preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, buildings, the outside yard, & shop equipment

Welsh Stone Supply has faithfully served homeowners and contractors for over ten years by supplying all their natural stone needs. We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our growing team. If you have any experience in diesel repair, electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, or building repair and enjoy building close relationships with your coworkers, consider joining our team.

Our Ideal Maintenance Mechanic:

• Mechanically Inclined: Experience as a diesel mechanic and a CDL B license is preferred but not required; broad diesel mechanical knowledge and basic electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting & building repair desired. Able to detect & repair issues on our diesel vehicles and operate forklifts, trucks, skid loaders, saws, hoists, etc.
• Passionate about Work: Meticulous, attentive, and detail-oriented to keep all aspects of our grounds & vehicles in good working order.
• Safety Minded: Values and follows safe working practices.
• Observant: You don't let little things go. We stress preventative maintenance because we want our trucks, buildings, and grounds in the best possible shape.
• Communication Skills: We value clear communication on our team. You will collaborate with multiple parties to ensure quality service.
• Active: You can lift up to 80 pounds unassisted, bend, kneel, work underneath vehicles, shovel, rake, use power & hand tools, and operate the equipment.
• Computer skills: Knowledge of Google & MS Office computer programs.
• Respectable: We maintain a family feel and insist on clean language, positive attitudes, and a strong work ethic.

What we offer our Maintenance Mechanic:

• $60k-$70k/year. Depending on Experience
