The Uftring Auto Group consists of eleven automotive franchises at six car dealerships in Peoria, East Peoria, Washington and North Pekin, Illinois. Responsibilities
-
Maintain inventory appearance and performance by monitoring cleanliness of used vehicles
-
Vehicle auction list
-
Detail scheduling and driving trades to detail
-
Inspecting finished detail
-
Working with wholesalers
-
Handling outside or sublet services on repair orders
-
Gassing vehicles, including trades
- Install federal and certified stickers
-
Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
-
Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed
-
Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Valid Illinois driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality eagerness to improve

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to work without supervision

Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service

Reliable transportation to and from work every single day

Able to jump start cars when needed

Professional personal appearance

Able to drive a manual transmission
- Broad knowledge of all types of vehicles and basic mechanical knowledge
- Detail experience preferred
Hours
- Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Occasional Saturday
