Loss Control Consultant Job at Arbella Insurance Group
Under the direction of the Loss Control Team Manager, the Loss Control Consultant will provide Arbella underwriting with risk assessment for middle market accounts. The consultant will work closely with underwriting to analyze automobile, general liability, property, and worker's compensation exposures for both existing insureds and prospective accounts. The consultant will develop risk management programs and recommendations that are effective in controlling the frequency and severity of losses for Arbella Insureds.
Key Responsibilities:

Provides underwriting with the acceptability of risk assessment for middle market accounts to expedite a profitable pricing decision.

Provides underwriting analysis of exposures and controls at insured and prospective accounts in Automobile, General Liability, Property, and Worker's Compensation and develops consultative recommendations to reduce the frequency/severity of insured losses.

Develops a service plan for insureds within the assigned territory to improve their loss experience.

Conduct consultative surveys within an assigned territory.

Prepare safety analysis reports and detailed plans of action.

Effectively communicates with a diverse group of accounts.

Effectively communicates and interacts with internal departments.

Maintains professional qualifications

Prepares and conducts safety and loss control training sessions for various customers, including insureds and prospects of Arbella. On occasion may be required to provide training sessions for projects not insured by Arbella.

Assist the management team of Loss Control in designing forms, developing technical presentations, and working with Arbella insureds and agents.
Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 + years experience in insurance loss control or corporate safety management.

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills are required.
