Roles and Responsibilities:
Job Summary/Overview:
1. People management
Responsible for direct supervision of one or more material management specialists and contractors. Includes day-to-day operational management of FOB spare parts and parts inventory management.
l
2. Administrative/Tactical
l KPI/MBO/reporting tasks to Management through Executive level.
l Spare parts & some raw materials inventory management.
l Managing and generating Business Processes.
l Inventory management (stock levels, min/max, shortage and overage prevention)
Warehouse Capacity control and reporting for internal and external warehouses
Schedule and monitor movements between warehouses and Samsung.
l Weekly timecard verification & Staff performance reviews for both SAS employees and contractors.
l Process goods receipts, goods issue, and goods transfer for inbound material.
3. Strategic
l Vendor management through paper and on-site inventory audit.
l Project management and TFT coordination for improvement projects.
Maintain relationship with other departments such as Facility & GCS, Procurement (buyers) and end users to complete RTR and RTS process.
Specific Job Duties:
Ensure subordinates are performing all material movements (Goods Issue, Receipts, Returns, Discrepancies) in a timely and efficient manner.
Oversee the creation of Standard Operating Procedures as well as the certification of the spare parts material handlers.
Ensure Inventory Accuracy for all materials assigned to this storage location.
Update and Report KPIs to Logistics Leadership.
Shift: M-F 8AM-5PM
Skills and Qualifications:
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required
l Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
l 5+ years warehousing and/or inventory management.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools
l SCM certificate preferred.
l Must be at a minimum of Level 2 (intermediate) proficiency using MS Office Suite.
l NERP / SAP program experience desired.
l Understanding of SCM techniques and importance of role being filled.
