Our techs are assigned work by email and complete forms online. The work is client rated and is very consequential for enterprise level companies. We have been in business since 2006 and have doubled in size each year or better on average since we converted the model to a wholly tech owned process.

We pride ourselves on being a top-performing team. Our ratings reflect this, and as a result, our pay rates and workload are both higher than average. This also secures promotions for our techs over time. On average, our techs complete 2-3 work orders per day, each lasting 2-3 hours. We also offer 150% pay for work completed outside of normal business hours. In addition, we reimburse our techs for materials used at local rates (e.g. Home Depot, Best Buy) and encourage them to own their own businesses. We support your growth in any way that does not directly compete with our business model, which is providing local tech support to enterprise-level companies. As a member of the team, you will be working with some of the best techs in the market who are supportive of your growth.

At Cook Technology Corp, we reward our successful techs with promotions to lead positions. Lead techs can be promoted to administration in 6 months, and administrators enjoy more than 20% revenue share from the jobs they manage. We believe that this is a great way to show our appreciation for a job well done and to encourage our team members to continue excelling in their roles.

You will have access to instruction and hands-on experience with every aspect of the tech business, from printers and networks to servers and security alarms. You will be supported by a lead via phone, but you should be able to work independently with reasonable help.

The basic skills required for this position include strong problem solving skills, PC repair, and the ability to wire and configure routers and networking upgrades/installations.

The basic tools required for this position include a screwdriver set with hex, a laptop and cell phone, a USB to DB9 adaptor and Cisco console cable, 200’ or more cat5e plenum rated, cable toner & tester, RJ45 and RJ11 ends and a crimper, 66 and 110 punch tool, fish tape, zip ties and electrical tape, Lineman's butt set, Multimeter, Hammer Drill, Ladder.
