Details about this opportunity:

LCSW:

• FFS Licensed Clinical Social Worker for early intervention, preschool and school-age children
• Various cases at the Nassau, Suffolk or Westchester County Center (New Hyde Park, Garden City, Westbury, Islandia, Riverhead or White Plains) of your choice
• Flexibility during school hours and after school hours

LMHC:

• Fee for Service Licensed Mental Health Counselor for school-age children
• Various cases at the Nassau, Suffolk or Westchester County Center (New Hyde Park, Garden City, Westbury, Islandia, Riverhead or White Plains) of your choice
• Availability during & after school hours

Family of Kidz offerings include:

Responsibilities:

• Providing individual cognitive-behavioral counseling to children and adolescents
• Provide group counseling to children and adolescents
• Provide parenting training and counseling
• Conduct assessments and social history
• Develop and plan individualized interventions and evidence-based treatment
• Collaborate with school staff and other personnel in implementing strategies to promote learning

About You:

And this background:

• Masters level license in Mental Health Counseling or Clinical Social Work
• Minimum of (1) year experience working in a setting focusing on supporting children and their families
• Cognitive-behavioral therapy training preferred
• Training in child development highly preferred
• Bilingual is a plus
