EDUCATION
- Master’s degree from an accredited Counseling program is required.
- Must be licensed in the State of Maryland, by the Board of Counseling Examiners, Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Licensed Certified Professional Counselor (L.C.P.C.)
EXPERIENCE
- Must have clinical experience through internships or job placements in the provision of services to children and adolescents with developmental, learning and/or emotional disabilities.
RELATED TRAINING
- Professional Crisis Management (PCM) training will be provided by the department. The employee must achieve and maintain certification at the “Practitioner” level according to the timeline established within the departmental policy.
