Position: Lead Security Archetect
Location: Washington, DC
As a member of TTC’s Enterprise Information Assurance and Associated Services Team, our* Lead Security Architect will be responsible for providing security architecture guidance and solutions the protect USAIDs IT Enterprise while enabling global operations. Our Lead Security Architect* will fill a critical role on our USAID* Enterprise Information Assurance and Associated Services Team.* Our Lead Security Architect will:
- Lead Architecture and design efforts of innovated Cyber security solutions and service offerings to protect USAID networks.
- Coordinate with a dynamic team of thought leaders and experts to identity the right mix of tools and techniques to build USAIDs IT requirements and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions by investigating new techniques and staying abreast of emerging technologies and solutions.
- Develop a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs.
- Leverage your technical expertise and experience to help USAID overcome difficult cybersecurity challenges presented by cybersecurity technologies and domains, to include: Cloud Security, identify and access management, Zero Trust; enabling USAID networks to stand up to advanced cyber threats.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master of Science degree preferably in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Cyber Security, or a bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience leading technical product delivery for large, complex organizations
- Experience with cloud, mulita-cloud, and hybrid cloud strategy, migration, and security strategies
- Experience with Zero Trust solutions, roadmaps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including familiarity with NIST 800-207, DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture
- Ability to work with and guide senior leaders, including CISO, CIO, and CTO and executives to ideate, build, and execute cybersecurity capability maturation
- Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to incorporate cybersecurity solutions and develop high quality implementation plans and roadmaps
- Ability to author technical documentation and advise on leading cybersecurity topics and concepts.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Possess and Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
