People Architects is partnering with Oak Tree Holdings to identify and hire an Information Technology Team Lead this position directly supports both employees and clients.
The Information Technology Team Lead is the single point of contact between the organization and all vendors providing IT support.
The IT Lead position directly supports both employees and clients. They will be the single point of contact between the organization and all vendors providing IT support.
The IT Lead is responsible for the proactive strategic development, implementation, and monitoring of technology solutions that improve business efficiency while meeting business goals. The IT Lead drives all related vendor management relationships.
The IT Lead must possess an excellent troubleshooting, processes, and documentation skills.
The IT Lead should have vendor and business relationship management experience and be able to comfortably walk users through basic and intermediate troubleshooting steps within a Microsoft environment.
The position requires a fundamental understanding of the underlying functions of Windows operation systems and Windows active directory, including, but not limited to, troubleshooting network issues using TCP/IP protocol, understanding network filesharing and security, and Microsoft SharePoint.
If unable to resolve an issue, the IT Lead must clearly communicate this to the end-user in a timely fashion and escalate to the appropriate level with clear documentation.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for selection, implementation, and monitoring of technology solutions
- Monitors and manages network infrastructure and software daily to ensure no business operation disruptions
- Serves as primary help desk support for employees and family clients
- Manages IT business partner relationships including service escalations and operates as point person for all vendor relationship needs including, but not limited to, proactively working with outsourced IT firms on projects, reviewing and approving statements of work, approving vendor invoices, and ordering equipment.
- Provides both on-site and virtual meeting support for internal and external meetings conducted in-person or via webinar (Teams, Zoom)
- Manages all employee technology needs including, but not limited to, new equipment issuance, existing equipment servicing, obsolete technology removal, technology replacements, and employee equipment training
- Responsible for maintaining internal video and audioconferencing systems in addition to managing other communication methods such as Teams, Zoom and the business cell phone program
- Administers all software needs including securities rights management, license negotiations, renewals, and deployment, troubleshooting of functional issues and review of license contracts
- Responsible for always keeping asset management tracking system current
- Assists senior team members to provide IT related data for IT related insurance policy renewals (cyber, crime, etc.) and assist with annual IT budgeting needs
- Drives security and training initiatives to employees through informal best practice communications and oversees the employee cybersecurity training program
- Keeps IT related policy and procedure documentation updated and current, and continually monitors internal controls, recommending changes as identified/needed
- Other duties as assigned

- Communicates proactively and in an easily understandable manner with all stakeholders
- Builds strong relationships and leverages data to guide the organization and stakeholders
- Handles sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- 5 years of vendor management experience
- 5 years of proven experience in supporting Windows clients on a network utilizing domain controllers
- 3 years of experience working on a multi-person support team
- Experience shaping strategies and implementing key solutions
- Experience/Educational/Other Requirements:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience (5+ years in field)
- 10+ years supporting Windows clients connected to a Microsoft domain
- Willingness to travel out of state ad hoc.
- Travel is expected once a year to support an annual meeting, but other travel is possible should client service needs necessitate.
Work Environment: Family office environment based out of Valley City near Cleveland, Ohio. This is a full-time position.
Currently, weekly work schedule is a hybrid structure (part work at home, part work in office).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
