At Morse Clinic of Dunn, we're doing just that to support the people of Harnett County and the surrounding areas. We are an Opioid Treatment Program, which specializes in Medication Assisted Treatment for adults with opioid use disorder. We have immediate availability for a licensed or provisionally licensed substance use disorder counselor to join the team!

The licensed counselor is responsible for direct treatment services to adult patients battling Opioid Use Disorder; the majority of patients have a co-occurring mental health diagnosis and or other comorbid addictions. Direct treatment services include:

• Comprehensive clinical assessments
• Group facilitation
• Individual counseling
• Screenings
• Case management
• Coordination of care with other providers and stakeholders
• Psycho-education
• Completing required State, Federal, and Medicaid mandated documentation.
• The licensed clinician will also be a member of our interdisciplinary treatment team.

This position is very rewarding but can also be demanding, as community mental health tends to be. We're a fast-paced environment serving a highly diverse group of clients. The ideal candidate is someone who is patient and flexible, sensitive to the needs of others, takes initiative and is self-directed, is capable of managing their time effectively to ensure required documentation is completed on time, is a team player, is comfortable multi-tasking when needed, and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing a caseload of 40-50 patients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

-Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field.

-LCAS or LCASA required.

*Dual licensure in a related mental health field such as social work, clinical mental health counseling, or marriage and family counseling, strongly preferred.

*Provider with previous medication assisted treatment experience is a plus! *Persons without experience are encouraged to apply and will be fully onboarded on the modality.*

*Provider already credentialed with Sandhills Center is a plus.

LCAS and LCSW clinical supervision can be provided weekly if needed. Some travel is required on occasion for training purposes.

Clinic Hours:

Monday - Friday: 5:30 am - 11:00 am. Counseling services are provided during this time.

Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 am-9:00 am for dosing only (no counseling services offered).

Counselors work Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 1:30 pm with client service hours ending at 11:00 am.

***COVID-19 Information: Interviews will be conducted via video chat. OTP is an essential service that has remained operational 7 days a week throughout the COVID-19 pandemic; the opioid epidemic has meant OTPs must remain active and available for the safety of our patients or future patients. We've done everything in our power to ensure both the safety, but also the comfort, of both our staff and our patients. It is important to note that our patient population responds better to in-person services, so we are following all CDC guidelines regarding the implementation of in-person services including the use of masks and distancing. Though counselors are primarily in office at this time, telehealth remains an option as does some work from home time to ensure safety and flexibility to both staff and patients alike.
