Role Summary
The Kitchen Operational Leader will oversee and coordinate kitchen-orientated strategies and put ideas into action that drive the store toward Operator’s vision. Kitchen Operational Leader guides those under their supervision to push towards that vision which accounts for food safety, speed, and quality. This position requires skills like: Self- Drive, Self-motivated, Ownership, High-energy, Servant’s Mentality, Follow-through, as well as high-level thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving. Execution of this role requires 40+ hours, and a varied schedule to support the demands of the business operational needs, catering, or special events.

General Responsibilities:
- Ensure the operator's vision is being achieved
- CARE for team members, guests, and our community
- Use CFA tools to problem solve – HELP, @cfahome
- Problem solve Kitchen operational challenges to achieve sales goals
- Keep Food Costs, Labor, and Inventory Expenses within budgets and goals
- Create goals, accountability, and consequences to achieve Performance and Culture standards
- Monitor and maintain proper Food Safety procedures
- Create systems for food production and thruput in all areas of the Kitchen to support LEAN, AHA, and other Chick-fil-A standards.
- Maintain all kitchen technology equipment to always be functional, updated, and accounted for
- Ensure operational systems are established to mitigate risk and personal safety threats
- Oversee all Kitchen team member-related complaints, issues, or performance concerns and maintain current records or documentation on file
- Execute Performance Reviews for Back of the House team members and leaders
- Keep current with all Chick-fil-A best practices for Back of the House operations
- Assist Operator with any special needs or requests
- Collaborate with Operational Lead Team regularly
- Create a culture of CARE, Safety, and Fun Kitchen experience
- Experience as a leader in food service operations
- Years of Experience: 2
- Bilingual: English and Spanish
- This is a full-time position.
- This person must be self-directed and highly organized.
- This person must master all knowledge and skills of every position in the Kitchen
