SUMMARY:
The Kitchen Assistant assists in food preparation and daily serving of meals to Senior Citizens. Keep kitchen area clean and sanitary.
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all minimum requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma/GED or currently attending school/classes for GED
- Must have a valid Kansas driver's license free of occupational restrictions and be insurable with the Nation's insurance.
- Must possess professional work ethics, manner, and appearance
- Must possess the ability to operate kitchen equipment
- Must possess the basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety
- Must possess the ability to operate general office equipment, including but not limited to; 10-key calculator, telephone, computer and operating systems, computer software programs (Microsoft Office programs), fax/copier machine.
- Must be available to work the assigned schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00A-3:30P and available as needed to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the position, which may include nights, weekends, holiday and overtime
- A record of satisfactory attendance and performance in all prior and current employment
