Kids Connection Supervisors

Dye Elementary 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

Dillon Elementary 3:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

Rate of Pay is $12.00/hour

Enrichment Program Supervisor

Job Purpose and Focus

The Kids Connection Supervisor is responsible for Children’s safety, interacting with the children, setting up for projects, cleaning up and any other task requested by the Enrichment Program Supervisor

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

  • At least 19 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Have a CDA/Montessori Credential or 480 hours experience
  • Infant, Child and Adult CPR & First Aid
  • Successful TB Test
  • Successful State and Federal Criminal Background check
  • Demonstrates human relations skills, especially in working with students
  • Ability to communicate effectively, with students, staff, administration, and parents

Essential Functions and Representative Duties

  • Overall care and supervision of children
  • Oversee planning, implementation and evaluation of classroom
  • Demonstrate sincere interest and active involvement in children’s activities. Your job is not merely to supervise, but to participate with the children in the activities and games. Properly and safely register and release each child.
  • Provide monthly newsletters to keep parents informed of events.
  • Communicate with school office, building principals, and teachers any information that is applicable.
  • Provide monthly lesson/activity plan to the Program Supervisor.
  • Daily and weekly attendance for each child.

Terms of Employment Part-time, school year

Work Environment

Must be able to use a variety of equipment and classroom tools such as computers, copiers, calculators, pencils, scissors, and equipment. Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Evaluation/Performance Measurements

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel. Criteria for performance include but are not limited to:

▪ Data utilization

▪ Human interactions

▪ Participation in specific training or workshop opportunities

▪ Demonstration of interpersonal, time, conflict, and stress management skills

▪ Ability to serve as an effective team member

▪ Ability to follow directions of certified staff

▪ Production and efficiency related to job duties
