Jr. Sales Associate
Una Malan Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic Showroom Assistant to join our growing San Francisco showroom team. The ideal candidate must possess a professional demeanor, have strong written and oral communication skills and enjoy developing relationships with interior designers and vendors. As a key member of the showroom team, you will approach the role with a proactive mindset, an eagerness to learn, and support the needs of clients and the internal sales team. This role reports directly to the showroom director.

Una Malan is a design & lifestyle showroom for high end home furniture, lighting, textiles and accessories in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Responsibilities:
Generate quotes, purchase orders, and other sales support materials with extreme attention to detail
Provide a high level of personalized client service, managing projects to exceed customers and set a high standard of warmth and professionalism in welcoming clients, vendors and colleagues.
Manage client information including lead generation, data entry and CRM database management
Assist customers in the showroom, via email and over the phone on all inquiries related to textile, lighting, and furniture collections, advising on bespoke options, lead times, & providing samples whenever necessary
Manage sample library & replenish memos on a running weekly basis
Maintain a beautiful, welcoming space, including organizing merchandise display, fabric samples and other key showroom duties.
Manage general opening and closing duties as needed
Pull and drop off / pick up samples for in showroom and out of showroom clients as required
Consistently seek to expand your working knowledge of interior design and current Una Malan collections
Additional responsibilities as needed - we are a small growing team who pitches in whenever and wherever necessary!
Requirements:
Hours of operations are M-F 9-5 pm with the expectations of coming in at 8:50 am to open.
Ability to lift 20 lbs
1 year minimum experience in a similar support role. Experience with design, customer service, or other similar field preferred but not required.
Candidates must be licensed to drive and have their own vehicle, with the ability to drive during business hours for company-related tasks.
A passion for interior design
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, keeping track of all deliverables and deadlines to ensure all client expectations are met including daily communication and follow-up across various accounts
Proven experience managing communication internally and externally when production or delivery issues arise
The ability to manage up when needed
Ability to mutli-task in a fast-paced environment
Desire to collaborate with others and foster a team environment
