We are looking for an energetic, motivated, organized, and meticulous plumber to join our team! We are looking for a candidate to relocate to one of our 3 offices in San Antonio, Austin, or San Angelo.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Construction Phase activities:
  • Schedule sub-contractors to the job site in accordance with the Special Work Orders.
  • Assist Superintendent with pre-construction site inspection with customer’s representative and generate Existing Conditions Report.
  • Communicate with Superintendent on construction progress and any problems or issues that are encountered.

Daily Field Reports:
  • Submit RFI’s as needed to the Project Manager for prompt processing
  • Understand the Change order process (no work against change orders should occur before the Project Manager notifies the Field Superintendent that an approved and signed Change Order is in effect).
  • Conduct a “75% completion” walk-through with Project Manager and generate Non-Conformance List. Correct all non-conforming items from the list.

Project Completion and Closeout Activities:
  • Conduct a “Pre-walk” inspection with the customer’s representative and Project Manager, generate Punch List, and obtain customer sign-off.
  • Manage the completion of all Punch List items as soon as possible.
  • Conduct Punch List completion inspection with the customer’s representative and obtain customer sign-off (The project Manager may also participate).
  • Demobilization – All remaining materials, tools, and equipment were removed from the site and transported to the Coppera, LLC warehouse.
  • Participate in Lessons Learned (Post Mortem) meetings.

Salary: $45.00 - $48.00 per hour

  • Journeyman Plumber (Required) At least 10 years of experience

COPPERA has been in business for over 12 years. We are a second-generation plumbing company. We branched off a first-generation residential plumbing company. We specialize in Commercial Plumbing services; mostly remodel with some new construction. We also perform commercial service work at all our locations. We have three locations, Austin, San Antonio, and San Angelo. Austin performs between $2.5M to $3.5M a year San Antonio performs between $2M to $3.5M a year San Angelo is currently our smaller outfit doing around, $1.5M a year We have a supporting Headquarters located in Taylor Texas. This is the location that houses all of our supporting staff to help the locations run the administrative side of the business. We have wonderful opportunities here at COPPERA for leadership growth and development both within our leadership team and our field team. We developed the vision of our organization back when we were getting to know many of our young Journeyman who said their ultimate goal was to open and run their own business. We had a couple of them leave to go do just that only to return saying it was too hard to do the work and run the business at the same time. With our model, we have made business ownership a reality for those individuals by providing support staff to help them run the administrative side of the business while they work on running and operating their location.
