Janitorial Operations Assistant (Daytime) Job at SFM Janitorial Services, LLC

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Maintains new hire training records for all SFMJ staff.

  • Approve payroll to ensure all splits and time are allocated to correct job number.

  • Trains subordinates in job skills, proper cleaning methods, and use of equipment, safety practices.

  • Ensures all safety procedures are followed by all employees.

  • Ensures that cleaning specifications are being followed, including the use of chemicals, equipment, and other tools applicable to each account are functioning properly.

  • Identifies and prepares proposals for any additional work needed opportunities and reports monthly on status of proposal.

  • Oversees warehouse operations including repairs and monthly budgets are being followed.

  • Manages Employee of the Month Program and non-complaint bonuses.

  • Follow up on the corrections of deficiencies reported by QC.

  • Conducts random Safety Inspections to ensure all accounts are compliant with OSHA regulations.

  • Conducts site walk thru and measures all areas to produce a productivity report for proper pricing proposal.

  • Confers with staff to resolve performance and personnel problems, and to discuss company policies.

  • Work closely with Area Supervisor in resolving customer requests and concerns in a promptly.

  • Audit GPS reports for administration review.

  • Communicates any information from Administration to mid-management and staff.

  • Assist department with recruiting efforts.

  • Emergency response team.

  • Assist as directed by manager.


SPECIFIC TASKS:


EMPLOYEE ORIENTATIONS:

  • Implement “New” Employee orientation Program.

EMPLOYEE SKILLS TRAINING:

  • Implement all assigned employee skills training (floor care, general housekeeping, restroom care, carpet care, trash handling, pressure washing, etc) with the support of Area Supervisor and Janitorial Manager.

  • Monitor employees training and report results to Janitorial Manager.

  • OSHA Certified.

QUALITY CONTROL:

  • Utilize SFM Services inspection system to track cleaning operations in assigned site.

PAYROLL:

  • Monitor daily payroll regular/overtime hours by following employee roster on a daily basis.

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

  • Work with SFM Area Supervisor to ensure adequate safety compliance of:
  • Appropriate use of all Chemicals.
  • Appropriate use of all Equipments.
  • Appropriate use of cleaning skills.

PROJECT/PERIODIC WORK:

  • Monitor all working periodic schedule to track all work performed in areas including completed

date.

FLEXIBILITY:

  • Work shift will be during both day and night based on company need minimum. 2 nights per week.

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:

  • A knowledge of basic computer programs (Word, Excel, E-Mail, etc) is required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School’s degree or equivalent Supervisor work experience.
