Position Summary
This position will work as a valued member of the company staff performing custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas, and other building interiors and exteriors and performs light maintenance duties as assigned.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, wax and polish floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines
- Dust and wash walls, clean, dust, and polish light fixtures
- Daily removal of garbage from office and warehouse offices and restrooms
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms throughout the plant and offices
- Remove stains from surfaces such as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemical and cleaning solutions
- Coordinate/perform any repair needs with maintenance
- Monitor supplies on hand, making sure that cleaning products and accessories needed to perform the job are ordered in advance and available for use
- Monitor building security and safety
- Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals
- Wear proper PPE
- General Maintenance
- Painting
- Other routine maintenance duties as assigned
- All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
Education Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Work Experience Required
Six months' experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment in a safe manner at all times
- Prioritize duties when necessary and allow time to complete daily tasks
- Work in warehouse conditions, whether in heat or cold
- Interpret instructions both oral and written
- Communicate with plant management to ensure products needed are ordered in a timely manner
- Complete BBP (Blood Borne Pathogen) training, required by OSHA
- Able to use computer

Physical Requirements
Requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing less than 50 lbs
