Superior is currently seeking an IT Systems Manager to join our Corporate team in Indianapolis, IN. Technology enables our users to give excellent service to our customers and partners. This person will maintain current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training and support to end users. The IT Systems Manager will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our operations and a long-term impact on our overall growth. This position reports to the IT Director.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead complex IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
• Monitor performance of information technology systems and user productivity levels to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure

• Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide excellent technical support

• Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT operations
• Provide service-oriented technical support by troubleshooting, researching, and guiding end users to a resolution
• Travel is required, up to 15%

Candidates should possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
• Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
• Must be service-oriented and actively seeking ways to help others
