Position Summary:

Fox Head Inc. is looking for an experienced self-starting, driven, dynamic and energetic Technician who can provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and/or software as a member of the HelpDesk Team. This position will include first and second level phone, email and hands-on support for internal employees, managing and maintaining PC/MAC based environments. Candidate will be responsible for support, installation, maintenance, and customization of all corporate PC and MAC systems and applications.

Essential Functions of this Role:

  • Provide high level customer service to all internal users
  • Provide support for our retail stores using Teamwork POS (Network, PC & iPad based)
  • Effectively prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment (Dell KACE for ticket management)
  • Exhibit a high level of proficiency and expertise with OSX, Win10/11, Office 11/365, Exchange administration, and AD administration
  • Document network, server, systems and application problems and affect recovery procedures following outages or service interruptions.
  • Evaluate and/or recommend purchase of workstations, laptops, peripheral equipment, and software; provides technical consulting services to department/organization regarding use of computers, applications, and networks to satisfy business needs
  • Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant business-related technology, applications equipment, and/or systems
  • Responsibilities also include supporting Fox’s A/V systems and Sales Presentations.

Work Environment:

  • This job operates within the corporate offices globally and our datacenter

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasional basis
  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances, and drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials.

Expected Hours of Work:

Must be available to work occasional off-hours and weekends

  • Must be available during standard business hours
  • May be required to work more than 8 hours during a workday

Travel:

  • This job generally has some travel locally and internationally

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • 3-5 years previous experience
  • Experience in a corporate IT environment supporting both MAC and PCs is a plus
  • Knowledge of Windows OS’s, OSX, Office Suites/365, remote support, VPN
  • Should be a self-starter, requiring little direct supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Adobe design products is a plus

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

Standard work hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm; however, this position requires some after-hours work and weekend support.

Work Authorization/ Security Clearance:

US Citizen or Green Card Holder (No H1B)
