IT Support Technician Job at American Consumer Credit Counseling

This is a full-time ON-SITE position in Auburndale, (Newton) Massachusetts.
The IT Support Technician is responsible for resolving user issues with hardware, software, phone systems, etc. in a timely manner as well as following up with escalations as needed. The IT Support Technician will be asked to assist with IT Projects as time permits.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for promptly answering and troubleshooting help desk inquiries
2. Provide end-user assistance for hardware, software, phone system, phone recording, etc. issues.
3. Review service desk tickets utilizing Jira to track issue resolution.
4. Review network and endpoint security alerts, monitor security logs and escalate to appropriate resource within the department for resolution.
5. Ensure accurate installation of software, workstations, laptops, and printers; as well as equipment moves.
6. Assist with routine maintenance and management of all desktop applications and operating system updates/patches.
7. Update IT inventory (both hardware and software) across the device lifecycle.
8. Responsible for adding and maintaining users on the network including assigning application access, ensuring appropriate security, and building access credentials.
9. Troubleshoot and perform repairs to IT related equipment as needed.
10. Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications:
1. Education: Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
2. Preferred Experience: IT help desk tasks, network support, Windows desktop support, Windows AD administration and support, Cisco IP phone system experience is a plus
3. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Administration, including Intune, Exchange, and Active Directory
4. Familiarity with Pulseway, Cisco AMP
5. Ability to work independently.
6. Supervisory Responsibility: n/a
7. Other: Advanced computer knowledge; basic to intermediate mathematical skills; ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, standard operating procedures (S.O.P.s); time management, and attention to detail; ability to interact and work in a team environment; demonstrate ability to comprehend verbal and written information in addition to responding to employees.
8. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Will not sponsor H1-B Visas at this time.
Working Conditions:
1. Lifting & Physical Requirements: Individuals may need to sit or stand for long periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting to 50 pounds on occasion.
2. Work Environment: General office environment with moderate noise level
