Essential Functions* of the position are detailed below and include any physical requirements checked below:
1. Serves as liaison between WIC Food Centers, Perishable Department, Warehouse, External Vendors and WIC Regional Office as needed.
2. Compares inventories to office records or computer figures from records, such as vendor purchase orders, WIC Food Centers orders, warehouse receiving and delivery and WIC Food Centers transferring of products to obtain current inventory.
3. Verifies inventory control computations against physical count of stock in WIC Food Centers.
4. Applies new inventory procedures at all WIC Food Centers and assists supervisors with inventory trainings and procedures including but not limited to quarterly visits to WIC Food Centers to view inventory processes.
5. Trains Administrative staff on basic inventory ordering procedures and other duties as well.
6. Responsible for maintaining, updating and submitting routine and ad-hoc reports, as necessary.
7. Maintains up-to-date and accurate files and databases, as required by agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies in the course of performing job expectations.
8. Completes all required documentation in accordance with agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies.
9. Handles a wide array of administrative/clerical tasks to ensure compliance with agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies in the course of performing job expectations.
