GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Installation Technician will work with the Installation Manager and will be responsible for the Service & Installation of car wash systems and other related installations. Required to establish, promote, and maintain relationships with all customers, co-workers, sales representatives, and others as appropriate. Capable of working independently with little general supervision.

This position will also assist key leadership team members with all training goals that align with the company mission, vision, and values.

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to lift items of light to heavy weight, up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to bend intermittently and repeatedly, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull, or do fine manipulations, climb ladders, and stand for prolonged periods.
• Must have adequate sight to read blueprints and other engineering documents and/or work orders and other field service documents.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs scheduled or emergency service on products at customer sites.
• Trouble shoot and repair as possible.
• Render on site and phone technical assistance to customers
• Capable of providing on-site training of products
• STIG welding may be required for service and installations.
• Work with various departments to resolve technical issues: Engineering, Production, etc.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting according to company guidelines for expense reports, mileage reports, Field Service Reports, Service Tickets, etc.
• Back-up functions for down-time will be in Assembly Department, assembling components.
• Focuses on personal development within the required work schedules and parameters.
• Operate in a safe manner in accordance with published safety guidelines. Must wear appropriate PPE as per company guidelines and accordance with job duties.
• Report all work-related accidents or injuries within 24 hours to the appropriate personnel.
• Unloading and staging of new equipment on job sites
• Inspecting equipment prior to installation and documenting any damage that occurred during shipment.
• Installation of new car wash equipment.
• Removal of old car wash equipment.
• Maintains tools, test equipment, and materials in a professional manner.
• Requires good communication skills.
• Provides superior customer service when interfacing with customers.
• Accurately perceives information from others.
  

EDUCATION:

• HS Diploma or GED.
  

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum one (1) year experience with Car Wash equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong Mechanical and Plumbing skills.
• 90% travel is required.
• Knowledge of proper use of power tools, i.e. hammer drill, grinder.
