Highland Industries is an OEM manufacturing and supply company underground mining equipment for the coal, metal, non-metal mining industries, oil and gas industry, and others. Along with our OEM product lines Highland also has a complete parts division dedicated to supporting various types of underground mining equipment and parts to the energy industry.
Position Requirements and Information:
Highland Industries is currently seeking an experienced Inside Parts Sales Representative with multiple years of experience in the mining industry. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of mining equipment and the parts for these machines. Candidates should also be analytical, organized, accurate, and able to multi-task in a fast paced deadline-driven environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel and have prior experience with accounting/inventory management software. Must have great oral and written communication skills, and able to work as part of a team.
Duties for this position include but are not limited to:
- Placing and Receiving calls with customers regarding inquires and orders.
- Working with Outside Sales Representatives regarding customer needs.
- Preparing quotes and sales orders.
- Proofing orders prior to being sent to Accounts Receivable
- Tracking and monitoring of materials owed back to HMC.
- Working with purchasing and warehousing to control inventory levels based upon sales.
- Compiling reports regarding sales statistics, core tracking, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
