Job Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred and 10+ years related experience or training. Additional degree with business and/or financial focus preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of supervisory or managerial experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of system administration experience
- Minimum 3 years developing strategic and operating plans
- 1+ year PowerShell/Scripting
- Knowledgeable about infrastructure management and monitoring applications
- Experienced with cloud technology – data centers, servers, storage, load balancing, etc.
- Expert in MS Operating Systems, at server and desktop level, as well as storage solutions
- Expert in email and web tools
- Expert in networking: LAN, WAN, VLAN, etc.
- Expert in Citrix, RDP, VDI and related technologies
- VMware configuration, administration, and monitoring
- Expert in firewall technology; Polo Alto and Cisco ASA preferred
- Cisco and Dell Switch configuration
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server and SQL Server tools/practices
- Expert in Microsoft Office 365 administration and applications
- Ability to identify complex problems and reviewing information to develop and implement solutions
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate with immediate supervisor and other team members to receive/direct all work instructions and express any questions or concerns as required
- Comply with all written and stated company ethics and safety policies and procedures
- Report all unsafe and unethical violations to immediate supervisor, or Human Resources
- Demonstrated skills in developing and maintaining good interpersonal relationships
Responsibilities:
- Work with associates to understand their technology requirements and identify effective/expedient solutions
- Keep abreast of the hospitality industry operations trends, be a strong leader for his/her respective area, and influence other areas as an opinion leader and partner
- Responsible for the management of enterprise IT applications and infrastructure management systems
- Manage a staff of direct reports, while being hands-on in the execution of certain tasks
- Maintain and exceed technological key performance indicators to manage the IT Operations services
- Lead the organization to successful and timely project completions, driving on-time and on-budget deliverables
- Architect, design, and delivery infrastructure technology solutions including on-premises and cloud technologies
- Manage corporate LAN/WAN and networking systems
- Maintain hardware/software inventory
- Handle network and systems failures and outages
- Provide Level 3 support for hotel technology issues, desktop computer support, printer support and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Proactively identify risks and recommend actions and/or solutions
- Perform all duties with an emphasis on achieving maximum stability and security, while maintaining performance and customer satisfaction
- Travel to property locations as needed
