Job Summary:

The HR Specialist is responsible for keeping reports and documentation up to date; ensuring that evaluations, required by state and the company, are completed on time; following up on in-service processes, and assisting specific claims. The ideal candidate will provide the best quality service to all our active employees.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

*Responsibilities may include additional tasks according to the needs of the department and the organization*

  • Provide needed assistance through all phases of the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Complete all needed assessments.
  • Complete job placement exploration and establish relationship with prospective employers/work placements according to recipient’s interest and strengths.
  • Participate in Team trainings
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.
  • Ensure that all documentation is completed, timely and accurately.
  • Review all caregiver compliance.
  • Schedule mandatory training for HHAs and office staff.
  • Assist the team by creating social media content.
  • Be a social media ambassador (take photos, create, and share valuable content for the different platforms)
  • Help maintain the branding strategies of the company across the board.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional customer services experience is required.
  • Two (2) years of recruiting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Home Care services industry preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HHA Exchange.
  • Understands the regulations governing the home care field, related to Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance.
  • Understanding of communicating effectively with employee, clients and their families, medical and community affiliates in order to develop positive relationships.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma/ College Degree preferred for some positions.
  • Must be bilingual in Mandarin, Cantonese

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour
