Job Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive office and administrative support to day-to-day operations of human resources while working within the limits of standard or accepted practices.
- Perform or assist with operations to maintain workflow and meet schedule and quality requirements for the Human Resources Department.
- Pre-screen applicants and arrange and facilitate interviews with hiring managers to aid in recruiting efforts.
- Take ownership of the onboarding process by arranging background checks, drug tests, and new hire orientations, as well as enrolling new hires into ADP.
- Organize all employee HR files to make sure that necessary paperwork, such as I-9 forms and other pre-employment documents, is maintained correctly.
- Assist with new hire orientation and enter data from the orientation into ADP.
- Help coordinate community events and support efforts to enhance employee engagement and handle communications arranging internal and external events for holiday parties, office meetings, safety meetings, etc.
- Track and manage attendance, referral bonuses, safety shoe & safety glasses allowance, jury duty, and badge replacement.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Always conducts business with the highest standard of professional and ethical conduct.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Associate’s degree is preferred; and/or one (1) to three (3) years of related office experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have excellent organization, planning, and time-management skills.
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must possess basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to work independently and be a strong team player.
- Must be bilingual in English/Spanish.
