CAPTRUST is seeking a Human Resources Data Manager who will oversee the planning, project coordination, and leadership for the human resource information system (HRIS) and provide leadership for math heavy functional areas such as benefits design and analysis. Additionally, this position will manage the data production, report generation, and day-to-day operations of the data processing to ensure the timely and accurate processing of data. WHO are we looking for?
CAPTRUST is seeking a Human Resources Data Manager who will oversee the planning, project coordination, and leadership for the human resource information system (HRIS) and provide leadership for math heavy functional areas such as benefits design and analysis. Additionally, this position will manage the data production, report generation, and day-to-day operations of the data processing to ensure the timely and accurate processing of data. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:
- Lead the HRIS function in managing the day-to-day activities to support the HR, payroll, and other interrelated functions
- Primary financial analyst for benefits design
- Serve as an interface between internal and external customers and the functional team members to ensure effective delivery of HRIS functions
- Promote proactive approaches using HRIS to solve business needs/problems while also enhancing the understanding of the HRIS capabilities
- Plan, budget, and forecast HRIS needs and applications; Maintain awareness of vendor plans and potential impact of those plans to current and future HRIS functionality
- Oversee and manage assigned project and/or department’s data
- Serve as the point person for data-related tasks on an assigned project including data requests for requests for proposals (RFPs)
- Coordinate the production of data and ensure timely and accurate processing
- Ensures integrity of data being processed is maintained, and field data-related questions
- Build PowerBI dashboards for various department initiatives and for executives
- Identify and resolve problems, preferably before the data processing schedule is affected
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (math, finance, or computer science)- At least four years of experience in analyzing complex data is preferred
- Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Expert in Microsoft Excel
- Very detail oriented
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to explain technical information in understandable language to nontechnical personnel
