Human Resources Coordinator Job at Prime Aesthetic Group
Prime Aesthetic Group is a fast growing, physician owned Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa organization that operates as owner to many luxury aesthetic offices throughout the United States. Our goal is to make it easier for our practices by providing centralized services such as human resources, marketing, finance, operations and information technology which allows our world class surgeons to provide the highest caliber of patient care.
We are looking to add a Human Resources Coordinator position that will be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for multiple entities within the Prime Aesthetics Group network of practices. This role will also provide administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
This is a remote position, based in Miami, Florida, but will require some presence in our future corporate headquarters, also in Miami. Our ideal candidate is someone with healthcare recruitment experience that is not afraid of rolling up their sleeves in a rapidly growing startup environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance and support to the human resources team.
- Enters, maintains and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
- Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits and other deductions.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
- Reconciles payroll and benefits statements.
- Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
- Assists with processing of terminations.
- Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Assists or prepares correspondence and/or reports as requested.
- Assists with the development and implementation of payroll practices, policies and procedures.
- Prepares new-employee files.
- Create, maintain, document and update HR processes as needed.
- Maintain and update company organization charts.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Support HR team on projects as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years payroll experience.
- Knowledge of payroll procedures and policies.
- Experience with ADP TotalSource preferred, but not required.
- Certified Payroll Administrator (CPA) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
