What you’ll do:

The HR Business Partner will provide a full range of human resources services across multiple facilities. The person in this role must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and working knowledge of all key human resources disciplines including employee relations, learning and development, employment law, compensation, employee benefits and recruitment and staffing. This position will provide professional human resources support for the site leadership teams. This position will work out of our Reno, Nevada but will be expected to travel to other facilities.

  • Provide day-to-day Human Resources support and partnering to all managers in multiple field locations
  • Proactively work with managers to reduce employee relations issues and create positive solutions
  • Administer HR programs, policies, practices, and processes
  • Liaise with payroll and benefits to trouble-shoot problems when they arise
  • Assist with new team member on-boarding and training
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal and regulatory agency policies
  • Manage HR projects cross-functionally
  • Act as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes

What you need to succeed:

  • 2+ years of progressive HR generalist experience supporting client groups and acting as a trusted advisor to management
  • Deep working knowledge of the following areas of HR: Employee relations, employment law, administration, compensation and benefits administration, payroll and record-keeping, employee relations, and labor relations
  • Demonstrated track record of managing complex HR projects
  • Detail orientation with strong analytical skills
  • Experience in working in a division of a large national business with a diverse group of employees
  • Industry experience in distribution and warehousing is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
