Responsibilities & Requirements:

Human Resource Associate - PRO HR

This position will provide Human Resources support services to all Kettering Health Network employees with a high level of effectiveness, efficiency, and a focus on customer service. Works independently with direction from leader. This position is responsible for intaking and responding to all inquiries from employees as well as conducting basic HR transactional or administrative activities. This position will drive customer questions and/or issues to resolution or escalate items needing specialized or advanced support.

Minimum Education

  • High School Diploma. Associates Degree preferred.

Minimum Work Experience

  • 1 year of related experience

Required Skills

  • Proficient with a variety of software programs including MS Office, Excel, Access, and Word. Strong communication, problem solving and resolution skills. Must be able to multi-task, maintain confidentiality, work independently, and have good organizational skills.

Essential Functions

  • • Resolve general employee HR-related inquiries (e.g., how much PTO do I have left?) • Create, document, close, and/or escalate cases in ServiceNow based on internal operating procedures • Process non-Tier 2 transactions (e.g., approve direct deposit change)1 • Administer portions of HR programs (e.g., Shooting Stars)1 • Track training requirements and attendance (e.g., Annual Mandatory Education)1 • Run and provide standard reports to appropriate parties (e.g., flu vaccination) 1 • Handle intake for payroll-related inquiries
