HR/Payroll Administration Job at Systems Resource Management

Systems Resource Management, Inc. (SRM) is currently seeking an employee for a hybrid role working in Human Resources, Payroll, as well as minimal administrative office work.

Position Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

  • Oversee all job postings, review resumes, schedule interviews. Follow up with candidates and complete new hire process.
  • Ensure company compliance with federal and state labor laws.
  • Meet with benefit broker to finalize benefits for open enrollment and organize yearly benefit meeting.
  • Participate in E-Verify program for new hires and ensure this paperwork is properly handled and safeguarded.
  • Handle all workers comp claims, submission, tracking, and outcome.
  • Oversee company PTO/Sick leave accrual, tracking, and distribution.
  • Ensure proper execution of FMLA applications and process.

Payroll:

  • Complete all company payroll functions on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Review Rhode Island Wage Determinations to ensure compliance, process updates as necessary.
  • Review, assemble, and submit State & Federal invoices to respective systems.
  • Oversee company 401k program. Enrolling employees, submitting distributions, year end true up process.
  • Manage company petty cash.

Administrative Assistant:

  • Answer phone and door, receive packages, check the mail and distribute accordingly.
  • Ensure office supplies are stocked and organized.
  • Organize all accounts payable receipts in company records room.
  • Manage all companywide mailings.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Procas Accounting Software, ADP preferred.
  • Experience with Government invoicing system PIEE (Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment) preferred.
  • Experience with Rhode Island invoicing system preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • United States citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance.
